Morning Ayurvedic Healing Tea

I’ve been regularly drinking coriander, garlic, ginger and black pepper tea every morning for a while now. It was prescribed to me as part of my Ayurvedic diet plan, to balance aggravated Vata dosha, reduce inflammation/ joint pain and balance my ‘Agni’ (digestive fire).

It certainly took a bit of getting used to at first, as my Pitta was so addicted to the buzz of my morning coffee! But honestly, switching to this tea, has been a game changer in terms of my digestion and elimination.

I will admit, coffee still sneaks in sometimes, but these days I’m more mindful of the time I have it and plus I’ve learnt a cool hack… if you add a little cardamom, it reduces the bitter ‘Guna’ (attribute) and so is way less acidic.

As I learn more about Ayurveda, what continues to inspire and amaze me is how simple remedies made from things you already have in your kitchen can have such a powerful impact on your health.

By understanding yourself through the lens of Ayurveda, you gain the tools to work with your body’s natural intelligence, rather than against it. If you feel called to explore this path, I am here to guide and support you on your journey back to wholeness.
