Great Spirit Bestowed Upon us a Sacred Gift…

The gift of free will. With it, we experience the illusion of separation by becoming the creators of our own lives. Through this journey, as seemingly separate beings, we rediscover that we are all one. This is the purpose of the journey.

A necessary part of this journey is the amnesia we experience, the forgetting of our connection to Spirit. In this state, it feels as if all connection to the Divine has been severed and we are totally alone. This has always been the most excruciating part for me: my temporary belief that there is no real purpose to life.

It is precisely through this forgetting that our free will comes alive! Amid our pain, we are presented with a choice: to resist and push away our suffering or to surrender and allow it to move through us. Pain is life's greatest teacher. When it arrives, it always offers a sacred invitation to transform and transcend.

If we accept this challenge and choose to move through the pain, it illuminates the path back to Spirit, to our wholeness and the interconnectedness of all life.

For all beings everywhere that are in suffering I pray that you remember you are connected to the light of Great Spirit, always.
